Midwest to D1 caravan

I know this is last minute, but I think it would be nice to get a group together from the Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, etc., area to drive to the event.

It's a rather long drive to Cali from here, and it would be far more interesting of a trip with a group.
So, post here A.S.A.P. if this is something you would like to do.

oh yeah..and it's SOOOOOOO worth it...i was at the D1 Driver Search and it was the greatest event i have ever been to...the professional demos were off the hook!!

there is a signal drift event in Toronto in mid september. If you just want to see how the pros do it make the trek there.

Well, plans have changed.
I'm going to fly instead.
I was looking forward to driving, but this way will be cheaper and more convenient. Frequent flyer miles own.

I probably will make the trek up to Toronto for the signal event.
I don't mind long distance driving.

So, what is there to do around the LA area? I'll be out there for the entire weekend, and I'll need something to do on Sat.
Recommend some shops and places I should check out.

just go to Westwood (UCLA), Hollywood (good clubs and lounges), Sunset Area (higher profile clubs and SUPER hot girls), Santa Monica (3rd Street Prominade), or Brentwood (more upper class coffee shops and such) and you are bound to find stuff going on and have a good time...:)

I actually don't anymore.

There's nothing to do anymore. I don't see ANY of my friends cause I can't be around it. But hey, I've been working on my car alot lately. All my money's goin to the 240 instead. So it's basically me, my car, and.... :jerkit:
