Check your base timing...make sure to use a spark plug wire in the no1 cylindr to pull accurate signal...

First warm up your car check timing and go around your vacuum lines and intake with carb cleaner or something similar and check for idle change. See if that works and post results.

check fuel pressure regulator ,(could be on its way out),and vacuum hose. Check fuel filter.Fuel pump could also be going bad . make sure you get 12Volts to it.(often overlooked). Most tuners wire a relay to it with heavier gaugue wiring .Alternator could be going bad also.I dont think its your IC piping. Cause if it was it would lag when you first start it.hope this helps ..

any updates from the op??

i`m having similar problem as well..
my yashio factory temp meter showing code 34, which means knock sensor..

then i changed my knock sensor with a known working one and that did the trick..

but after a few days of driving, it happens again..

then i did the following :-
- triple checked my mechanical timing and base timing with a timing light..
- changed all the vacuum hoses..
- clean the afm with contact cleaner..
- wired up a relay for the fuel pump..
- did a compression test : ard 147 all across (wet tested)..

after that it was ok for a couple of weeks and then it happens again..
the funny thing was, when it was ok, the yashio factory shows code 12 (afm) but it drives fine..
then one day, the afm code went away but code 34 came back and the problem comes again..

dammit..

i have walbro 255 and z32 fuel pump. no fpr yet. but i dont think this is a fuel problem cause there is no cut, just lag. i get full boost my car just goes no where. i have a small boost leak on my throttle body that everyone thinks is the problem but its still to minor to be the problem. anyone else have this leak tho?

i think mine is the other way around.
when i start the car from cold start, if i bothered to try driving it before normal operating temp (which i wait anyway till she warm up), the car would lag out when i give it a baby gas step (like fuel isnt wanting to shoot in), but once it warms up to normal temp, no lag whatsoever, drives fine.

im having a similiar issue. Car starts fine and drives good, but when i am cruising in lets say 3rd gear and then try to punch it i get boost but the car acts like its going to stall. I know weird. Hopefully someone is having the same problem. Maybe ff or fp or fpr
