The other day while I was driving I noticed that it was getting harder to shift into gear. After a few days it was starting to grind and I had to force it in gear. Eventually it got to the point where it would go in gear and grind, and once I let of the brake and kept the clutch engaged the car would pull forward. I checked the master and slave cylinders and seemed to be okay, but replaced them anyway. Bled the system and still nothing works. The car shifts fine while it's off. Any ideas?

what clutch are you using?
Either the pivot ball broke or the forks bent or clutch plates loose

if ya can. have someone push the pedal and watch to see if the slave moves.
if it does then yo might need to drop the tranny and inspect

Exactly, and I think it's what...5/8" travel for the stock slave? Thats how far the plunger should move with the pedal to the floor.

Like I said, I replaced them. But I fixed the problem, just had to adjust the length of the rod that the pedal connects to for the master. Works perfect now.
I probably didn't need to replace the parts, but they're old, so I guess it wasn't such a bad idea.
