I got a coupe with an s13 sr that someone tried to install, wiring is all F**ked up. Problems
1. turn the key the fuel pump does not prime
2. Try to start it and no starter
I am in the process of checking all grounds, checked for power on the fuel pump and it has power going all the way to the fuel pump.
When i press the clutch petal and try to start it the relay closest to the floor in the fuse box under the dash clicks alot. I thought that ment it was working. Another thing the guy put the battery in the trunk and used speaker wire for the battery cables im guessing thats not good. Any ideas would be great.

well i took the harness out and ordered some relays. After looking at a pinout of the ecu on frsport. The plug that the Black and red strip plug shows it to be the main ignition wire but when i took the harness off the car it was not pluged in and i didnt find anywhere to plug it in. On the frsport wiring for the s13 sr20 it says to cut it and use a ka plug but if you dont have the plug hard wire it,?????? I am going to fix it as soon as i figure out where it goes, If anybody with a s13 sr20det under their belt plz help

depending on how bad it is messed up you might be better off just buying a new harness. I say this because you have no idea how it's been taken care of. in theory most connections need to be soldered to make for a good connection but in reality most people are too lazy to do so. you might want to consider just a new harness.

wire gremlins can be a b****.
