95 240 w/ a s13 redtop DET

Hi guys,
As the title says i found a 95 240 w/ a s13 redtop DET....and the owner is asking $7000 for it. He told me that the company who did the swap didnt do it right even after 6 weeks ...so the owner ended up doing it himself. The owner also told me that the ps reservoir is busted, a/c compressor and the speed sensor is gone. Everything else seems to be fine.
What do you guys think?

screw that car you saw..not worth it...once you buy it you will encounter alot of headache's and problems...just look for another one and build it and have fun

thats the problem...ive been looking for nearly a 3 4 months and i havent found one s14 w/ the body in good shape :(

yeah i would wait i rushed into mine and now i wish i would have waited for an SE, but mine is it great condition and i still love it!!

I waited 6 months for mine.....don't hurry into something. I know ur anxtious like I was. I waited and found a cherry. '95 Pearl white SE in perfect condition.It took time but I found it. I bought it off this 47 year old lady who was buying a G35. Take ur time grasshopper........

yeah man....I've seen so many 240's that were messed up it made me sick. It's like nobody who had this type of car gave a **** at all. To find a 5 speed like this was not easy. I had a choice between a charcole grey, red or this white one. I used to have a '95 black gsr and before that it was a red '98 civic ex. The darker colors look dirty too fast and I was sick of red so white was something that I was very interested in.

yeah i know hopefully i will be able to sell this and get a good SE, or just do the brake/ rotor swap i wonder if the new 350 brake calipers will fit mine??

have you checked www.autotrader.com?? i just found like 5 for sale in the chicago area alone! there was a sweet 97 but they wanted like 14 grand for it :hammer:

Keep an eye out on ebay also. Anything near the Great Lakes is a rust possibility, especially if they use salt on the roads in the winter. Definately be patient tho....find as many options as possible that lists cars for sale (Autotrader magazine and all the other Car Trader mags, Autotrader online, Sun Times/Tribune classifieds, ebay, Carmax.com, etc.)
