Don't listen to this dbag.

Check out ka-t.org for more info but it really comes down to a good tune, quality parts and not pushing your luck.

I'm on ka-t, I just cant deiced if I should drop $800 on pistons and rods for 350-365whp. The car will be dyno tuned.

Im all for KA-t, but you cannot make too much on stock internals, you have to upgrade all that stuff unless you wanna fuck up your turbo and your engine..I think KA24DE internals can only handle like 300HP (got off from wikepedia lol) , if some one is thinking of making 400+ then you definetly have to change out all the internals and a good tune also...

I have a stock sohc rebuild but forged pistons, those are a good idea if you are not going crazy with boost and fuel, otherwise you need rods as well as other things. 248whp 286fpt 12psi. For those levels you really dont need the pistons, but it is all in the tune, if you like your engine spend the money and get it tuned properly and it will last. My only issues are related to parts failures not tuning. ie leaky throttle body, bov.

Never owned a honda In my life, I was joking BTW. I have a friend Is putting down around 330 to the wheels on a 170k engine! Stock block! Also my other friend Is putting down 260 I believe on a 200k Single cam!

It's all about the tune! If the A/F ratios aren't right Kabooom! same for any other engine
