550 Injectors

I was wondering if I could install my 550 sti injectors into my sr20det swap and have it run without a tune right now. I know it sounds stupid but I need the car to run. I have heard somewhere that I will be able to do this but would like someone to confirm this. Also would it run to rich? Thanks!!

No you cannot just drop them in.

You either need a tune or an SAFC

and even with an safc those injectors are still pretty big for it(safc) to handle

You absolutely cannot just drop them in without a tune. It will most definitely make your car run rich.

You could run a hacked MAF and put them in.

There are no magically cheap ways to run larger injectors unless you want to run the risk of breaking the entire motor...let's see...buy Power FC vs. cost of an entire new motor swap or engine rebuild?

Costs money to play but once you are there you will see why it was totally worth it (assuming the tuner knows what they are doing)...good luck
