Ok kinda of hard to explain my issue here. Did a search and couldnt find any answers to my problem.

Ok so ive noticed since I got new wheels on the wheel fitment on the rear is off. Heres my set up:

17x9 +36 w/ 245/40 Pontenza's. I am using a 8mm slip on spacer on both sides.

Rears have been rolled and slightly pulled. On the driver side wheel is pretty flush with fender where I "cant" fit my fingers in between tire and fender. Now the passenger side rear wheel is a bit sunken in not flush at all like the other side. I can fit my fingers in between tire and fender. Im using the exact same tires on ther rear and same size spacers. The wheels have the exact same offset aswell. I know its not that one side was pulled more because even before i rolled and pulled them i had noticed the problem. I just had a complete alignment done on friday by a friend and everything was dialed in at where it suppose to be. Car has never been hit or been in an accident and I know that for a fact. Not sure if anyone on here has had this problem before. I really hope someone can help me out here. Here are some pictures that kinda show what im talking about. Sorry if they are not that clear

Worn out rubber bushings?
Maybe the traction rod on one side is sloppier than the other, I think that would cause one wheel to be more sunken in after adjusting camber and stuff. Not 100% sure though.
Or your lower control arm bushings too.

Also, the subframe bushings could have a little bit of slop to em too.

That is how all S13's are. :)

Not joking by the way.
My driver side quarter panel is pulled quite a bit more than the passenger side.

Thats one of the issues I thought it could be. I do hear a thump/clunk in the passenger rear at times like if something is loose. Also I noticed that the LCA and pretty much all the other bushings are pretty much done too... well gota change them things out soon and ill see what happens.

I also thought if this was a problem that s13's had... my friend that did the alignment also told me that on AE86's (corollas) they have the same issues and that theres this aftermarket rod or something that you can install to correct the offset of how the wheels sit in the rear. Thanks guys for the tips.

S14's do this as well. Atleast mine does. It's just reversed.

My S14 Has the same problem but reverse. I'm pretty sure after seeing lots of cars its just how they are. The factory doesnt make the panels 100% perfect down to the MM's that are making a difference when it comes to wheel fitment.

yeah, my s13 has it. -2.6* camber with 0 toe in the rear, both sides, same tires, same psi, brand new. Passenger side is about 2-3mm more sunk than the other side

wow i had a feeling that it was going to be one of them things were these cars were made some what defective lol. Well im still going to replace all bushings in the rear and see how that goes.... if its still like that maybe ill just get a thicker spacers on that side :bigok:. Just would make me feel better on the inside if both sides had same fitment :wiggle:. Anyway thanks everyone for the input

yeah it pisses me off lol. You can always just run less camber on one side, or like you said, thicker spacers

Im probably going to get a 3mm spacer or something, it doesnt bother me THAT much though

my friends s13 was the same way... he had mb weapons and one side fit good and the other was a little sunk.

I must be one of the lucky ones, the gap on the passenger side is only about 2mm more than the driver side, which isn't even noticeable until you bust out the measuring tape.

That thing your friend with the 86 is talking about is the pan hard (panard) sp? bar...

s13s dont have that though lol

This is why you set the suspension up first, then pull the fenders to be flush to the wheels.

very true... next time for sure ill leave rolling/pulling for the end.

on an open diff the rh rear is the power wheel isn't it, every time you leave from a stop light the tension, torque, and weight is slightly shifted to that wheel after years of driving maybe it has just become that way.....?

I have a stock 240sx, not lowered, stock suspension but with following parts:

17x8 wheels (all 4 corners) - 5zigen FN01R-C (4 lug)
Pirelli Pzero Nero 215/45 (but they are old and need to be replaced)
BRM 2.5" CAT back exhaust system

Parts that are coming:

SPL front inner tie rods
SPL front outer tie rods (v5)
SPL tension rods (v3)
SPL rear upper arms (v3)
SPL rear toe rods (v3)
SPL urethane transmission mount
SPL solid subframe bushings (v2)
SPL eccentric lockout kit
SPL brake air deflectors (v2)

Was thinking about getting Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 245/40
Will this be square?? Anyone have advice or perspective?? Will they rub??

Thanks!
