Hey guys,

So question for all you SR guys out there that know everything =)

I've got an S14 SR20DET in my s14 right now. Ive got everything repinned up and the engine is running. My question is:

What would cause my engine to bog and run super rich at low RPMs? My engine hits up to 4k RPM and sounds great and has full throttle response. but like i said, at low RPM and Idle, as soon as i give it some gas it bogs down bad with slow throttle response and is back firing and running super rich. smalls like gas bad from the exhaust. So jsut wondering what some trouble shooting procedures are that I could try? Thanks guys!

For starters, unplug all vital engine harness connections and check the pins for straightness and continuity. Re-assemble and test. Also, be sure all grounds are properly grounded at ecu, engine and harness.

If it still fails, check wiring for the 50th time if needed and test for continuity at all connection points. 1 by1 by 1 by 1..... and so on.

Maybe wire in the s14 sr consult port? hrm.....
