Hey guys,

So question for all you SR guys out there that know everything =)

I've got an S14 SR20DET in my s14 right now. Ive got everything repinned up and the engine is running. My question is:

What would cause my engine to bog and run super rich at low RPMs? My engine hits up to 4k RPM and sounds great and has full throttle response. but like i said, at low RPM and Idle, as soon as i give it some gas it bogs down bad with slow throttle response and is back firing and running super rich. smalls like gas bad from the exhaust. So jsut wondering what some trouble shooting procedures are that I could try? Thanks guys!

Check your harness that connects to the fuel injectors, it might need replacing. I had similar problems and that was the cause.

Exact same symptons I have at the moment.

My possible problems:
Bad O2 sensor / fouled plugs
DW 740cc inj. on a JWT ecu (latency problem)

Maybe leaky injectors? Do you have an AFPR? Whats it set at? Other than that maybe spark plugs or a dirty/ bad MAF causing the rich condition?

mild boost leak
leaky injector o ring
low voltage to fuelpump
slightly bad coilpack
check all grounds..
