hey everyone ok just recently installed my freddy intake manifold and been having idle problems ever since with it w/ overheating problems
it WASN'T overheating with stock intake manifold but i guess something could have just went out by chance :/ i replaced with a new IACV gasket and a new throttle body gasket and a new Circuit sport thermal intake manifold gasket so i really dont think i have a vaccum leak. vaccum is about 19,20 on my bosst gauge... my upper radiator hose doesnt have any pressure when the car is on and dont see radiator fluid flowing through radiator and i started the car without radiator hoses on to see if i had a bad radiator but water wasnt coming out either of the tubes while putting water in through the waterneck...

im thinking it might be a themostat problem and that this is causing my idles to jump up and down from 1500-1800? any help will be much appreciated thanks in advance. i also have a video clip

maybe you routed the hoses wrong on the IAVC

Thats what i thought at first too but then i took them off and ran the iacv without the hoses and looped the hoses to eachother kinda what u do when ur not running a heater and need to loop the 2 rear hoses on a SR or KA

Removed thermostat today and coolant was flowing no more overheating... So I need a new thermostat! But still doesn't fix my idle issue!?

Maybe I need a re-tune?

im experiencing the exact same issue ive narrowed mine down to the 3 spots on the bottom of the manifold for vaccum ports that i blocked off, one is leaking. as for my overheating issue i bought a oe sr20 one bc autozone duralast or failsafe didnt work...lmk if u get it fixed!

yeah im going to order a nismo thermostat and as far as the 3 ports in the bottom i have one with a nipple to run my boost gauge too and the other 2 are blocked off i also used teflon tape on all screw and nipples screwwed into the intake manifold
