Did you check to make sure the clutch fork didnt get bent or broken? Did you readjust the pedal after that happened?

i know exactly what it is happened to my brothers coupe its most likely a defective clutch disc or pressure plate but for sure your clutch

actually most likely the fork PIVOT ball but quite possibly the fork itself as the others said. odds are kinda against the pressure plate failing catastrophically. Whether or not it broke you should definitely install a Nismo clutch fork pivot ball while you're in there so at least the stocker doesn't fail on you in the future.

It is more than liklely either the fork or the pressure plate, I had EACH shit the bed on my old S14...
You'll have gone to the same place to find the culprit, so get in there and make it happen.
