View Full Version : To all the guys in Japan...

Iknow there arent alot of people on this board that are in japan, but for those who are I would like to organize a car club for us guys over here. We would have meets, and outings to the local tracks, and If I get enough people maybe I will start a website. Im just trying to see how many guys/gals would be interested, If any. Please reply If interested, and If you have any other ideas, please chime in.:bow:

Not interested in velocity, would like to start my own, nothing against those guys or anything, just want something diffrent.

that would be cool to have start a car club except i have 2 major problems that keep me from it:
1.not old enough to drive off base...im still in high school, my last year
2.dont have a good enough car. i drive shiet.
it is a cool idea tho.

Yeah, it would be nice, but finding people that are mature enough to actually join is going to be hard. I cant stand some of the younger airman on this base, they act like total idiots sometimes.

haha i know what you mean. when i was down in oki, i over here some GIs talking, and they dont know poop about cars. some guy said he has like 3 BOVs on his gts-t. another said you cant drift an MR2. yeah i know mr2s are harder to drift, but its possible. well good luck starting a club. maybe you mite be able to get people from yokosuka or something. i know they have some nice cars.

whats wrong with people form okinawa? dont judge a whole island by some idiots u ran into or over heard.....................also i think the car club is a good idea but your in mainland right? ryan

Well, as soon as we get over to Atsugi in April of 04, I would be down with having meets and hanging out...the only bad thing I hear about is traffic over there. That might be a turn-off for some people if they dont want to wait in traffic? Correct me if I am wrong...But we would definatly be into hanging out!:D
