altezzas is growing in popularity in japan
APC is giong to be having a big debut soon, ive seen their products in quite a few magazines lately..well not a ad but on various cars..the Msports ads has a nice altezza s15 taillights for sale and 've seen various clear type as well for sale by other companies
red/clear is available as well

theres LOTS of ricey types there too..

hey dousan, shut the fock up.. that shiet isnt gonna do well in Japan. Why, you ask? Because Japanese dont buy CRAP. APC lamps are not quality. Last I checked, most folks in Japan dont buy Korean cars.

Actually, my friend who was just in Japan not long ago told me they are having shows just like HIN and other shows of such. Where ppl show off cars as some of us would consider as rice. Just as Dousan stated, lots of APC stuff or similar. They might actually start featuring in Option magazines. This is what I've heard, can't really back up the authenticity of the statement. However, don't be surprised when you do see it. BTW, I think it'd be call the "sports compact" or something of that sort... Am I the only one that think it's ironic?

It's kinda like Drift Tengoku Video No. 6 where a bunch of the 180's have Camaro style bumpers. It's funny **** cuz keichi trips out. I can't understand fully what he's saying but the way he says camraro is funny. "ka-ma-ro" in katakana english. And then he sees a regular 180 front bumper and kalls it kireii. By the way, that video is cool but I wish I could understand what they were saying. I only understand some adjectives and all the "baka" and "konoyaro" shout outs.

I can tell you from what Ive seen on the streets of mainland japan that it is happening, they are just like us with when it comes to fads. If the americans are doing it than so will the jaoanese eventually. I dont think it will get as bad as in the states, but thats just because they dont have sixteen year ols kids driving hondas, and thinking they are fast when they go 16.5 in the quarter. No offense to the young people.

The rice there is everybit as bad as it is here... The only real difference is when the Japanese go rice, they go rice all the way and spend buckets of cash being uber rice(custom humongous body kit, 4-10 exhaust pipes, gold plated engine, hydrolics and spinners, crazy air brush work, loud paint, etc.(all on the same car mind you))... Don't believe me? Look around for some K-Car mags, and Wagon mags out there.... CRAZY stuff...

I don't particularly care for JDM POWER, I am not in kahootz with the hive mind's way of thinking, so please correct yourself and say, "Many of us would want nice JDM part...", and look intelligent.

I am not siding with APC, but regardless of what a majority of the board agrees on, they are doing financially well and are opening markets elsewhere to increase profits. Which in turn means they are actually popular with the kids and such.

IMHO that is, actually that opinion was not humble, so correction...IMO.:D
