Hey guys really quick question. Im swapping my s14 t28 compressor housing onto a gti-r t28 i just bought and was wondering am gonna need a whole new re-tune before running this? everything else is stock im just wondering if i can swap the turbo in and run it on my oem maps so i can still daily it for another 2 weeks lol thankyou--mat:hsdance:

yea but dont boost it more than 3 psi if you going to DD

You should be okay, Ive heard of people going from a t25 to a gt28r with no supporting mods for a short period. Your best bet to keep the car safe would be to not hit full boost during that untuned time, as 8psi on your old turbo is not the same as 8psi on your new one. Others may say youll be fine to boost it, but if it were my car, id be keeping it out of full boost until I had it tuned.

I think you'll be fine your going from a T28 to a T28 with slightly different specs.

You should be fine if you already had a real tune with the stock T28

guy has no 550 or bigger injectors.. if he wants to be safe with a t28 just run it at low boost
