well a show car is a show car, gotta do what you gotta do. Hydros are always great with the show scene. that car has Full Bomex Kit, Wing and probably a lot more with music and stuff. I wouldn't doubt the time and money in that car.

the 240s that are most embarrassing to me are those owned by people who bought them to be cool, or because they were the cool thing at the moment. those who were like, "well civics are played out, i'll get a 240". those people embarrass me. sure they may not rice out thier cars, have nice kits, wheels, etc. but they lack any sort of real enthusiasm. they aren't going to have the car when they are 60. they don't well up with pride everytime they sit down in the driver seat and think, "damn, i really love this car". those posers who are moving from the honda fad to the nissan fad, or the drag racing fad to the drifting fad, those people embarrass me. those who never use thier cars but instead let them sit in garages, or just drive to shows to sit on carpet. they embarrass me too.

when u got it, you prolly didn't know that u loved it. I like my car myself, but i do realize that it's not the ONLY car out there, and that there are (and a lot of) cars that are faster, better handling, better looking and more comfortable than 240sx. And one thing that u don't realize, is that once you get inside one of those cars, you'll quickly forget you had a 240, and you'll never want to go back. But oh well.

PS. the word JDM doesn't make your car faster, better handling, better looking or more comfortable.

I'm a GENERAL car enthusiast. I did have a turbo 240 (even though for a very short time). Future plans are rebuilding my 240 engine (bad rings) and putting some higher compression pistons in. Then i'm planning to buy a mark II golf next year, and eventually a c3 corvette for daily driving (and sell my 240). What i'm gonna do with those cars? The golf will hopefully become a rally car (or, if i become rich :rolleyes: i might get a subbie), the c3 will recieve a 427 small block and used for daily driving. Funny enough, those 2 cars are better at what they are gonna be used for. 240sx can't touch the golf (or a subbie) in the dirt, and doesn't even come close in looks to a c3 vette. Not to mention with a 427 (and maybe a 150 shot of nitrous) very few modded 240s will even be able to touch me in a straight line. I respect my 240 for being a cheap daily driver with good handling capabilities. I will pick it over civic, prelude, cavalier and all other misc pos compact cars on the road out there. I modify it not because i love it so much that i want to do something to it. I mod it cuz its there in front of me and i love modding no matter what car it is. Put any other car there, i'll mod it too. So i still embarrass u?

Anyways, have you ever thought why all those CEOs and generally high ranked people drive 740 beemers and c5 corvettes? You think a toyota camry's comfortability isn't good enough for them? Its called status. How the **** can u be a manager of a company if you are driving some 88 pos, even modded beyond belief? Nobody will ever take you seriosly. Me for one at least. Cars are a growing up thing. Some day you'll realize that young years are over, you are tired of dumping money and time in your car, and all you want is a nice quiet car which is reliable, has a good stereo system and which you enjoy riding. a 240 with an rb won't (most likely) clear at least 2 of those (that is reliable and quiet). When would people realize that impressing others is not the most important thing about a car :-/

Man you will find out that if you try to throw your weight around, with only 40 posts, most ppl are just going to tell you to shut the f**k up. I have over 350 I believe I don't even talk like that. And I hate to bust your bubble, but I think that the JDM seats and the USDM seats are the same in the S14. Correct me if I'm wrong.

My seats in my S14 fit me well, plus I took out the lumbar and folded in the sides, so they fit better than your "S14 JDM" seats do. Man, you seem like one of those Newbs that just learned some terms... such as.... JDM, RB26DETT (which won't fit in a 240 :mrmeph: ) Just so you know. Don't treat ppl like sh*t on here, especially with 41 posts.

I love it! well, you know what. I sure would love to go drifting, I think it's awesome, but man, I can't afford the repairs when it keeps breaking down because of engine problems, ie. bad piston rings, blown turbo, etc. I know you have to pay to play, but i'm just playing a different route. and it's about lookin good. and hey, don't tell me that you don't care about lookin good... "wow, where did you get that kit from??" "that offset SUCKS!!" blah blah blah... any damn offset works if you're driftin at 80mph. so why bother? so just because everyone in japan own a 180 because they love to drift, means that if i own one, i have to drift with it?? ha! whatever. talk about jumping in the bandwagon. you don't see those showcar owners talkin smack about your stock wheels painted black, and those old mesh wheels. be real about it. if they're not an enthusiast, then they wouldn't have done anything to the car at all. they wouldn't even be on this page.
