View Full Version : Whos sr20det will hold over 9psi stock?

Mine wont, i cant get it to hold over 9psi, it will spike at 14 then drops very fas to about 9psi, this is with a manual boost controler. thanks

mine holds 14psi all day on the sstock T25 no problems. i think your boost controllers crap. what kinda MBC do you have?

its a turboxs dual stage, and both stages do the same thing. hum.. how can i test it?

try running your MBC from the throttle body instead of the hotpipe. That is how I solved my problem that was exactly the same as yours...

mine won't hold over 9-10psi either, does the same thing. goes up to 12 and then falls. i am running a greddy profec b would moving the vacuum line still help?

see i was thinking that maybe just the wastegate spring is not strong enough??? but im gonna move it and see if that helps.
right now mine is hooked to the charge pipe right before the throttle body. so your thinking moving it to the intake will fix the problem? im confused here, i could under stand if it was before the cooler but its after

it could very well be the acuator is going and not able to hold. I'm using an HKS one to up my boost to 14 and have had no problems.

what about putting washers behind the wastegate to bring it out some and put more of a load on the spring?
