It hangs super low and crooked!
The canister will be demolished the first speed bump you hit!

Those exhausts are terrible, even the authentic Apexi duals.
They are heavy, causing hangers to break off, most hang too low and are sunken, loud, unnecessarily bulky, annoying to mount/remove, and fit bad with most bumpers.
Basically the only advantage to them is 'being different.'

i see, since my car is low as faakkk, would it b better to go for a megan 2.5 exhaust, im assuming the weld on the hangers are of better quality a 3 inch on a KA is too loud for me especially wit my blown out CAT

I have an "Authentic" Apexi and I can say that the said is true. They are heavy and hang way too low for slammed cars. I removed mine before it got destroyed and now I'm looking to fab up a straight pipe or chop this mother fakker up and make two exhaust out of it with custom piping. But they sound amazing throughout all RPM's that's for sure...

If I were you, i'd get the isis version of this exhaust. I had a hard time installing it, because it's designed to sit as high as possible!!! The cans are actually sitting on top of my bumper!! Awesome sounding exhaust, even on my sohc!!! It's super deep, and throaty sounding. Set off exhausts in my building all the time, just because of how it rumbles, when I let off the gas. :keke:

Resonator hits driveshaft, pipes hit subframe and mufflers sit crooked. Also is super heavy and a pain to mount because it hits everything. They do sound good though just alot of work to fix everything. You get what you pay for most of the time on ebay.

I also have apexi n1 duals and I can vouch for the heavy, hang too low and break hangers. I had one hanger break off the left canister and had to re-weld it. Im not even really slammed and have issues with it. I also had problems when I first installed it after my sr swap with factory drive shaft clearance. If I were to do it all again I would not spend all the money and go custom no doubt...

yeah my buddy has this exhaust and he cant lower his car anymore till he gets a new exhaust... but it does look nice from the rear but functionality over looks is the main thing. got my exhaust pipe off ebay and its been awesome to me.. just look for one that might not have as much clearance issues..
