im trying to figure out why my car doesnt turn on, it only turns on when i push start it. but when i try to turn it on normally it makes on click , so i ruled out my alternator and the battery, but im thinking it could be my starter, or my acc relay by the intake, because when i turn it on that acc fuse makes a click every time i try to turn it on with the key all the way and the rest of them dont, and i didnt have that click before. so pretty much my car doesent crank it just does one click, so if you have any input on this your help would be appreciated thanks guys, and gals

no i havent just me and my friend were inspecting it, so i was under the hood and he was trying to turn it on and i heard the clicks from the relay box and my car doesnt make a lot of clicks it just make one little click and it doesent make the crank sound either, but if theres a click coming from the acc i was thinking maybe its that cuz you can feel it when i touch it

if its the battery it could be giving you other electrical issues so look for that. But im betting on a a bad starter.

It's must be ur battery!!! Go check it !! This is the first step to eliminating ur problems and finding a solution... Its clear you don't know whats going on... U only assume... U can still have your interior lights with a dieing battery... go take it to ur local Autozone or wherever and to give u a reading on ur batt... Or if u don't want to do that pass current from another car to the car if it starts it's your battery

its the blue starter relay on ur relay box by intake. relay may click but its not sending power to the starter solenoid. you can take it out and bypass the relay jump it with a wire or aligator clips which ever u have n it should crank. or better yet borrow someones relay....had the same problem with mine.

Relays are supposed to click, you never heard it before because the sound of the motor cranking drowned it out. Assuming the battery has a full charge, I'm willing to bet its the ignition switch on the steering column.

see ^^ above. probably the starter relay. you could just put a jumper wire across them as well. common problem on s13's.

do this....take out starter relay.....look underneath for the two big wires which has the bigger plug...jump it using wire paper clip watever n try starting it. fyi once u jump the relay no need to push in clutch...make sure its on nuetral tho...

You could test the starter by running some wire (or better yet use a remote starter/trigger) from the positive terminal of the battery to the starter, it will crank as soon as you make contact with the wire.
