S13 ---> S15 Compatibility ??

Hi guys !

I recently crashed my 1991 Redtop S13 coupe sr20det. Motor seems to be alright so i am thinking about compatibility between S13 and S15.

Am i going to be able to swap my sr20det with the 5 spd trans, drive-shaft, diff, 5lug hubs, suspensions, etc... on an S15 chassis ?

Am i gonna have a hard time with anything ? Or everything just fits bolt-on ?

I know the engine is going to fit, but for the rest, i have no clue...

idk man. that might be a big job. your should just sell your s13 sr and get a s15 black top. no fitment issues there. plus s13 in s15 is kinda beat IMO. just saying.

I also discovered my hks hipermax-D wont fit an s15 without any fitment issues too.

And i dont want to sell my motor cuz it already is pretty tuned, makes around 370whp.

I might just get another s13 coupe chassis, though i'd like it caged this time.

I would've liked to get an s15... but it is just going to be a shit load of parts ordering and shipping and time waiting everytime i'll shave a wall or hit anything while drifting...

Only thing thats gonna be a pain in the ass is the wiring. Drop it in, folks out here do it all the time...get a Spec S S15 and swap in a redtop SR since they're cheap as hell.

I'm kind of in between the two choices, s13 or s15 chassis...

I'm just waiting to confirm the price quotes i had from s15 shells vs s13 coupe shells and parts availablity.

I would be putting that red top cuz it's already pullin 425hp... :boink:

Though i kinda dropped the idea of the s15... i was just on a buzz... never mind i'll probably get a 180sx or another coupe and swap the damn thing in. ;)
