Hey guys. new to the forum and new to the cars. just bought this s14 and i think i got a really good buy.

im looking forward to this build. First upgrade will be sound and i can do that myself.. *pretty savvy in that area*

suspension as in coilovers.... im not..

any suggestions... dont wanna blow too much money but i dont want cheap shit. *i know ill end up spending*

ill eventually take this to the track and drift and this will also be my DD

soo yeah it will be Suspension and Fitment. HELP GUYS!

well i might just be uneducated cause i dont see the sense in it..... does an sr20 have the same tranny as the ka24? cause why would i get a 5spd tranny and then get then end up spending to get another tranny with the sr20?

Hes saying you still have to complete the other steps to modify your car from auto to manual. All you need is your SR20 tranny and the manual components from an S14 chassis to make it all work.

False, Kouki >>> Zenki. The headlights are so ugly...bare minimum I would get the glass Zenki headlights...the plastic gets so shitty looking with age.

Yes to find a Zenki this clean esp. in that color, don't touch it or at least don't turn it into a drifting turd. Just sell it to someone else on here that will maintain it in it's current condition or keep it relatively simple and clean. There's not too many left in this condition.

thats what i was thinking haha but i want to retrofit hids on it... but i cant find anyone that sells them... and as for coils... im not sure which ones to buy.... people can tell me brands and names all day but it still wont educate me on how it rides.... or how low or anything iono? if u guys have suspension..... post pictures that would be awesome =]]] +1 if u have nice fitment! :D

and thanks my cousin did it.... with a little more work done... we will have awesome pictures up.. these were fairly quick and i plan on doing a shoot with other cars... not just 240s my cousins all have e46's and other cars as well

Depending on your ride,If you like bouncy and stiff get some coils,if not just pick up a set of KYB shocks and some lowering springs. or whatever brand you decide. For coils alot of them are basically the same. Alot of the shocks are coming from 1 or 2 large company's that produce shocks. and places like Tein,Megan,JIC buy them and slap there logo on them and add there finishing touches. I wouldn't go low as hell on that car. A nice inch drop with some 350z wheels..would look sick.
