When I hit the brakes on my car and let off theres a clunking sound, I think its the driveshaft getting slack then getting tension again hence the sound? Or maybe im completely wrong, what to you guys think? Thanks in advance!

try search - there are a dozen of these threads.
now i dont want to be a bung hole, so its been said that it is the rear end. mione does it too, and im not worried. i still need to swap in my cusco 1.5 way that is still in the third member/pumpkin from my last car. hopefully that solves the issue.
but yeah, search and you will be enlightened.

my s14 had same symptoms in braking and hard shifting. reason was subframe bushings were not good.
