Hi, everyone I just joined this forum and have officially started doing an SR swap on my 1991 Nissan 240SX and I am not sure if I am starting this thread in the right place but I would like some tips on a few things. First off with my SR will I need any emissions stuff? I live in Wyoming and there isn't ANY rules on that stuff so just wondering if I can go without emissions stuff like does the stock SR ecu need to have the pump and all that stuff I'm really not sure about emissons stuff anyways so if you could give me a heads up about thaat let me know. I also am not sure what parts I need off of the KA. I also need a new hatch no glass needed... No spoiler please. Found rust under the stupid foam Spoiler lol... I will post a few pictures of the car now though...

you shouldn't need anything off the KA i think. Maybe parts of the harness? Not 100% there

As for emissions stuff, it is on a state by state basis. I imagine Wyoming still smogs cars right? If it is just basic stuff, I imagine you can't have any check engine lights or be running catless or something for smog, should have a clean burning car with minimal NOX out the tailpipe.
But I don't know how your state works, depends on how they function

Actually here in Wyoming there is no smog testing or NOX testing at all its acutally really nice... And as far as the SR goes does it come with emissions stuff like an EGR? I don't really know anything about computerized motors a whole lot I'm used to the old Chevy SB. And does an SR have an o2 sensor in the cat or before? Sorry lots of questions lol...
