I bought my s14 about 2 weeks ago. When I got it it was pretty nasty as far as being dirty (inside and out). It also had a lot of little things that really ****ed me off..

-clutch pedal squeaking
-throttle sticking
-cracked windshield (happend on the way home from picking up the car)
-yellowed headlights (ewwww)
-trunk rattle (fixed with an extra piece of weather stripping)
-rear speaker cover rattle (just stuff a in little foam from egg-crate style bed pad)
-faded leather spot (nothing some shoe polish can fix)
-Fog lights not working (ends up it was just a fuse, but I figured that out AFTER I replace the bulbs  )

I know it may not seem like a lot, but after spending a few hours fixing these things...I feel like i'm driving a car that is worth a whole lot more than what I paid for.

The most worthwhile thing I did on that list was fix the two rattles. Now my car is solid as a rock. Not having any rattles really makes driving a lot more enjoyable for me.

Don't know why I made this post. Maybe just to say that even fixing the little things on your car is rewarding. I dunno, i'm tired.

yeah fixing the little things are very rewarding. Things that the average person wouldn't even worry about or take for granted. But one thing that I will try to minimize while working on cars is not work on them in front of my parents. My parents say whenever I come back home from school all I do is work on the car and I don't relax or enjoy my weekend.

oh well
