strange noise coming from my crankcase

Just rebuilt my SR and now this odd noise is coming out of the crankcase when the motor is warm. There is no sound when it is cold. In the video it sounds like a slight whistle but it's actually a ting of metal on metal.

Any insight on this? motor revs and idles fine without any hiccups, however I have not put it under a load yet.
bottomend specs are
BC rods
cp pistons
moroso oil pan
s14 oil pickup.

are you sure it's not coming from a pulley? Kinda sounds like it.

I thought it was a pulley of some sort at first. but I isolated the noise to coming out of my crankcase breather. When i put my ear directly to the hose it's an audible 'ting'. I guess my next plan of attack is to pull the pan and see if the rods are touching the windage tray or even if the baffle plate is loose. more work but it's peace of mind.

Bump to the top. Has anyone heard anything like this at all? Getting ready to pull the motor to get to the bottom of this.

i was thinking a garbled up windage tray, but i dunno. check and see how often it happens per stroke. that should narrow it down pretty well.
