Okay that picture looked worse than it actually was....no damage to the car except the TIP of the exhaust and one exhaust hanger. The B-piping on the exhaust was not damaged at all, it bent from the flex tube near the down pipe.

But I agree, drifting in the rain gets old fast. But I still had hella fun! Probably do it again LoL

TOUKE DRIFT FIRST RAIN TURKEY ACTION EVENT STRIKES TOMORROW!!!!



Basic tech Inspection below are required
(Drivers please come 30 minute earlier for tech inspection, etc.)

**Battery properly secured all terminal covered
**Engine compartment free of loose items (air filter, hoses, wires, etc)
**No fluid leaks
**No exposed wires
**Brake lights function properly (at least two red functioning brake lights)
**Seat properly mounted and secure
**Seatbelts function properly mounted and secured.
**Brake pads and rotors in good condition (min 40% thickness)
**Tires are road-worthy and safe (min 3/32 tread depth, no sidewall damage)
**Wheels and wheel bearings are tight and road worthy
**Windshield is free of cracks which might obstruct the driver’s vision
**Helmet is SNELL certified M95 or SA95 or newer and free of damage
**No loose items in passenger compartment or trunk
**Roll bar in convertible cars is required or top on
**Tandem at your OWN RISK! and its prefer you have a cage

This was also my first event and loved it. Too bad I felt like shit from lack of sleep and didn't get the chance to get more seat time. I loved this event as everything went smoothly, lots of seat time, had a great layout for beginners and advanced, and everyone was chill. Looking forward to the next event and I will make sure to get a lot of sleep hahaha.

The engine got so hot that it melted some wires so we just put electrical tape around it and it runs perfect again :)

And drifting through the "barrel corner" isn't scary- It's actually gratifying when you drift thru it and come out the other end.....I think John might have been scared when he rode with me when demo-ing the new course...

Thanks for coming out and helping out too AND gotta say that you drifted well with the single-slam KA proving once again that an S13 can be drifted with the KA single or dual! (I'm on that bandwagon for obvious reasons haha)

I think that tandem was weak on my part....guess I'm still getting used to my new setup...Mike did waaay better with Mr. Castro.

Yeah true at least there was footage...just wish it was nice and dry when we were doing tandem! If I got more runs with you, I think it would've looked better....I gotta learn to follow the line of the lead car instead of trying to close the gap and get inside, bad habit...

If more of you could connect the course and not spin out, the video would be longer.
not trying to be a dick, just saying, lol.

Lot of guys got better as the day got on, hopefully pretty soon some of you will move up to tandem. You end up getting twice the runs in, and if people dont spin out, you get about an extra 1/3 more runs a day.
Those two together add up to a lot of extra seat time, which means you get even better faster and get more fun.

not many of them come on zilvia so the files are everywhere O_o

i agree many of you guys improved along the day, but i didn't get to catch it on the vid. next time invest in a camera with two batteries =) its tough to balance taking pictures, flagging, and trying to make sure the event is smooth runnings. we try our best to get some coverage.
