Ok, so once again i cant find any information on KA24DE parts. Lets get a header comparison. First my main focus is on s14 KA24DE parts. But i think we should assemble a list of available and unavailable headers. I'm primarily interested in the headers that are currently available here. But just as a resource it makes sense to list all the headers that are and were available. The second and main interest i have here is in the measurements of the headers. Primary diameters, collector outlet diameters. Here is some of the information i have gathered so far.

HEADERS CURRENTLY IN PRODUCTION

DC Header
4-2-1
Primary runner diameter: 1.5in
Collector outlet diameter: 2.1

Pacesetter header
4-2-1
Primary runner diameter: 1.5in
Collector outlet diameter: 2.5in

OBX header (same design as hot shot)
4-2-1
NO INFO

JDM Carboy (same design as hot shot)
4-2-1
NO INFO

Megan racing
4-1
NO INFO

So, i'm actually a little interested in the megan racing header. It is a 4-1 which in some cases isnt ideal. But i'm building an 11.1 na ka with a counterbalanced crank. So i'm pretty interested in something that might be good for higher rpm. Since the ka seems to run out of breath, port work jwt stage 1 cams and something like the 4-1 header might bring good results. Let me know what you think, if you have any data to add or any other good info to add to the post. Lets try and keep this as technical as possible. No "well i thinks". If you have dyno comparisons, measurements or any other actual data please post it. If you tried an old pacesetter tell us what year it was, if you dynoed it, if the design has changed etc. So, lets try and keep our opinions out of this one. In all likelyhood i'll probably try out a couple of these headers on my new build. Thanks

Where'd you get your DC Header Specs?

This is what I've gathered. Taken the specs from Various forums including Nico, Here, 240SXF, etc.

Pacesetter Header
1.500" Primaries
2.500" Outlet
4-1 Long Tube

OBX Header
1.125" Primaries
2.500" Outlet
4-2-1

DC Sports Header
?.???" Primaries
1.875" Outlet
4-2-1

MR Design is horrible, Short un= 4-1 Manifold with a 2.5" Outlet/Down-pipe.
Your best bet for the best top-end in the PaceSetter 4-1 or a Custom 4-1.

I got the dc header specs by calling dc and asking them what the measurements were. Same with the pacesetter measurements i got. I have a really hard time believing that the obx primaries are 1.1 when the hot shot primaries were 1.75. That is a big difference and when i see pictures of either set installed the diameters look the same. Especially since the primaries go into secondaries that merge into 2.5 the same as the hot shot. Anyone else have measurements of the obx compared to the hot shot? I was starting to lean twords the pacesetter header too. They have a new ceramic coated version now. So i figure that and a good top end design might be helpful for my goals. Keep the info coming! Thanks for replying.
