hey in my new s13 the guy was an idiot and used a few self tapping screws in the trunk... im sure the holes wont hurt anythinkg but they may rust and i dont like having them there, so what should i use to fill them? i was thinking bondo or jb weld suggestions will be helpful. Also if anyone has a digital camera and an s13 hb i would appreciate it if you could take some pics of the inside where the metal on the bottom of the trunk meets the metal on the sides of the trunk. I would take pics but i have no camera. I just want to see if mine is in good shape t looks like they are being pulled apart and i might need to have it rewelded thankss alot! I need all the thelp i can get to make this project work

I'm using products from a company called por-15, apparently all of their stuff prevents rusting and in my experience they work pretty good. You should try the "retso-grip" or what I'm using "por-patch".

...uh....no. You do the painting AFTER you sand the stuff you fill the holes with. Otherwise you end up with globs over the painted holes.

1. Grind off paint and rust
2. Weld holes
3. Grind welds flat
4. Bondo
5. Sand
6. Paint

1. Grind off paint and rust
Why would I use a grinder to remove paint???
2. Weld holes
are you talking about real weld or jb weld? because im talking about holes the size of a small screw
3. Grind welds flat
4. Bondo
why bondo if you alredy made everything flat?
5. Sand
6. Paint

1. Because you need to be down the the metal before you weld. And you could spend 30 minutes sanding it or 3 seconds grinding it, you choose.
2. Real weld, not JB weld damnit. Dont be cheap *** affro-engineering **** on your car, doesnt matter size of holes, without welding they will fall through eventually.
3 Grind welds flat.
4. You dont know much about body work do you? You want to paint over the grooves and grind marks???? You need bondo layed on and sanded with a block and then by hand to fill in all imperfections.
5. Sand
6. Paint

i think you guys are missing the point is this is very little surface rust it only takes me seconds to sand it off and most of the holes have no rust at all
