After driving the car hard a few days the bolts that tighten the wastegate to the cast manifold come loose and i have to keep tightening then - its getting kind of annoying - using a cast manifold, gasket, wastegate, lock nut then bolt in that order - they tighten up just fine and hold for atleast a week as long as I take it easy - but who wants to do that - I was thinking locktite but i dont think it will withstand the heat -

Are you recirc'n the wastegate back into the exhaust?

no - it has its own dump tube

Stainless allen head with a stainless lock nut and MAYBE a dab of sillicone or low strength loctite should work.

tighten it down cold, drive around a little bit to get it to running temp, then re-tighten the bolts again. Should solve your problem. Its what you have to do to header bolts too. The heat cycles allow them to loosen up so you have to tightem it all down when its warm.

You might try a beleville washer (mcmaster) in combination with your locking nut. I'm having the same issue, typically mine last a track day or two before loosening up and that's with using a jetnut.

If all else fails, safety wire!

Yes!

If you use allen head bolts they are pretty easy to drill. Nuts are a lot more difficult to do.

Safety wire one bolt to the other so that if one were to try loosen, it would have to tighten the other one.
