Fuel Meter

Well I put gas on my car and it gives me false levels of fuel, for example i put $20 worth but it shows like i only put $5 then it goes up and comes back down agen. I searched but nothing relating to this, and I googled but no good info im still searching, but hopefully i can get some feed back from you guys. thanks :D:wavey: oh its a 91 with a stock ka 123k miles if it matters

Check the float in the tank, make sure nothing is restricting it's movements. I had a similar problem on my first S13 and I found that the fuel tank seal had fallen and was keeping the float from going to the full position.
