View Full Version : what front bumper is this?

SimpleS14

I'm thinking this bumper is GP Sports, but I'm not 100% sure. The picture I have attached is a Zenki S14...but I know there must be a similar bumper for the Kouki S14.

BTW.....does anyone know what bumper(s) flow with the Kouki side skirts (excluding the stock JDM bumper)?

Oh yea..this is one clean S14 :coolugh: .....

Stop identifying every Japanese bumper as either:
-GP Sports
-Veilside
-Bomex
or
-Cwest

It's annoying. They are MANY diffrent companys out there that make very simular style bumpers. It for one is not the GP Sports S14 zenki G Sonic Type II Aerokit kit due to not having the two nortrils and slight diffrences on teh opening. There are MANY japanese bumpers which look alike.

NiteKids - I shouldn't have mentioned what I think it looks similar to. Maybe you know who the maker is since you have a vast knowledge on Japanese aerokits.

dousan36 - There has to be some way to get ahold of that bumper....even if it will be really expensive.

Matt_240 - I really like your bumper...do you have the stock sides or aftermarket?

BTW....what bumper is that?

Dousan_PG

there's always a way
go thru Jspec.com is probably easiset
oh btw, shipping will probably be around 700 i bet.
:)
bumper probably costs..mm i'd say 4-500
dont forget paint job

nitekids never claimed to know everything. he's just laying out the truth that people think it is what they know..WHY so they can SEEM to know a lot

you really haev NO IDEA how many there are. serious, order a drift tengoku mag thru reflex racing and look at the pics. you'll be surprised.

Lay off. he implied it looked like GP sports, he did not SAY it was GP sports. not everyone goes out and buy those magazines. if you do know what it is, then TELL him.

the only one i can think of that is attainable here (or was) is the GP Sports.

one who knows very little doesnt need to act like he knows everything..

im gonna use aftermarket but im not mentioning which one yet. im actually surprised no one talks about this kit because it looks so nice and is pretty cheap.

I have no idea what bumper that is. it looks like the many different bumpers listed in the option magazines or carboys. but it really does look like the one i have.. it even has that place for the license plate. where did you get the picture from?

Hey geoge, i think the vertex kit for the kouki s14 is close to what you are looking for. It looks similar to that front, not perfect but close enough. http://www.autoimaging.com/vertex/s14k_lg.jpg

I always find it humorous when Nitekids complains about someone elses posts, for reasons which most people on all the forums he posts should know.

option a (what i suggest) buy it thru reflex racing (zilvia member ruf)

option b

august issues are out now. :) get a subscription, you WONT regret it! it blows away super street/scc etc..even if you cant read it.

wow some places charge a lot for these magazines. i know in san diego you can go to that japanese store and get an issue for 7 bucks. but i moved and get them back for 500 yen again. :D

so i send them to my bro by flat rate envelopes and stuffing them with 2 or 3 mags.

plus i can buy old issues for 100 yen at book-off.;)

haha i was just being an *** for the heck of it :D got to defend the East Coast (what what).

v-opt USA sells 'em for like $11 each (year supscription is like $112!!! SCC is like $24), that's a LOT of money, especially if you can't read the articles...

you can go to Mitsuwas in Saratoga and pick up Drift Tengoku, Option, Young Version, Carboy, Hyper Rev's, etc....they also have a video rental section of all the Options including #113 with the D1 Drivers search......just rented it last week and overall the video was boring....

It's close and I was considering it, but the one I posted doesn't looks like it doesn't hang as low.

Kinokuniya bookstores are great! When I lived in Oakland, I could drive across the bridge to SF Japan town and pick up Carboy, Drift Tengoku, Option, Option 2, Young Version, and Those special edition mags, like The Carboy 180/silvia special edition. Paid 25 bucks for it, but I love that mag (more of a book actually) has just about every single kit, part, wheel ever made for the 180, and s13 silvia. My friends have begged to borrow it, but it would be crap if I let them. hehehe.... Its all for my eyes only muahhahaha! When I get a good scanner I would like to scan a couple pages to show you less fortunate. :wtc:
