Near the oil filter....

That stock oil pressure sensor, unhook it, and put the aftermarket one there.

That stock oil pressure gauge is so pointless, it just controls the little light on your dash and I believe it only turns on if you have less than 3PSI oil pressure.

If you are running an aftermarket gauge, its pretty much irrelevant.

Just what nieko said.

But make sure you get he rite fitting if you go with a autometer or a sunpro the fittings you get wont work.

Autometer's and sunpros come with a 1/8 NPT fitting and the sr/ka use 1/8 BSPT fittings.

this is one you can use

NISsport Oil Pressure Adapter (http://www.nissport.com/catalog/product.asp?ProductCode=NS-2100)

Don't buy that, it's extremely over priced. There's a thread on here from awhile back like 2008 or something that tells you the part numbers you need from mcmaster carr. I bought mine from there and it came out to like 10$ IF that.

Just make sure about going from BSPT to NPT

I got mine from my local line store and it was $7 out the door.

But im over the whole mechanical gauge i had a small leak behind my gauge and now its not even hooked up.

That fitting from auto meter would work ifi use a AEM gauge since aem is also a 1/8 npt

I did .. its not the fitting it's where the fitting goes into the gauge. No big deal really i just took it out and threw it away.

You can not use NPT thread's it will cross thread and come out or not even go in at all.

teflon is NOT made for oil applications.
