View Full Version : Just received my SR clip from JDM Recycler

Hey everyone, figured that since everyone wants to find out what all the good clip companies are, id provide an initial review. Was pulled out of the freight truck nicely wrapped in shrink wrap with the underside being padded by old seats, which was a nice bonus. I didnt expect the body panels to be in great shape, which they weren't but better than expected(scratched hood, cracked lamps etc). Once I got the plastic off and popped the hood, I was happily suprised to see a pretty clean engine bay, and a uncut harness. Opened the oil cap, cams seem suprisingly clean, no residue or oil stains that would lead me to beleive of any major leaks previously. All the hoses were pretty new, as well as a stainless steel braided radiator line. All in all looks great, cant wait to install and see if it runs as well as it looks haha. Only major downside was that I was given a 61 ECU which is a automatic transmission ECU, but David who u can always reach directly at(714-713-1749) im sure will help me out. Purchased the clip for 2,300+600 shipping and the odo reads 100km.

Oh yeah forgot to mention, nice bonus I got with the car was a pretty dirty Silvia floor mat w/emblem. And I will have some pics posted later once it stops raining

It is a silver-blue 91' fastback , ive only had for about a month and alot of that time has been spent in the garage. And where do you live near, hopefully ill see ya sometime.

I asked David about the website, and he said their webmaster has been over in Japan or something, but yeah they are definetly still around
