So Ive been messing with this for quite some time now and cant figure it out.
So first off on cold start up on my s13 sr20det with a fmic running 14psi, it runs like shit. Basically you have to blip the throttle every few seconds to keep it alive till its warmed up to operating temps. Now I have a boost/vac gauge and it only has between 10-15 hg of vac at cold start up and goes towards zero as it dies. Also if you try to go any where while cold it basically falls on its face and cuts out.
Now once warmed up the car will drive fine and boost just fine. Also my vac is about 20-25 HG at idle once warmed. The idle can be a little rough at times but nothing to serious.
Ive gone over every coupler and vac line thinking it was a vac leak but have came up with nothing as it boosts to 14 psi just fine when warmed up. The only thing that can come to my mind now is that one of my intake manifold gaskets is leaking and seals up once its warm.
Any help is greatly appreciated and I will be checking back here multiple times a day. If u have any questions feel free to ask and ill answer it with my best judgment.
