ok i plan on rebuilding my s13 redtop sr20det.
gonna be using cp pistons 87.0mm/ 9.0:1 , acl racing main and rod bearings, crower rods, larger cams, n arp studs. I already rebuilt my head and using an apexi MHG and im looking to get another bottom end and rebuilding it.

my question is on my funding, that since im gonna be wasting alot of money on the rebuild parts and stuff, would still using the stock size injector with my stock t25 still be fine. one my friends told me that it wouldnt run too well if i used all of those upgraded racing parts with the stock injectors and t25 ... im still gonna be getting it tuned with like a power fc so everything will run safely, but as of now if i do go rebuilding, im probably not gonna have enough funds to buy larger injectors and a larger turbo. So would it be fine if i just ran stock injectors and stock turbo while running these racing parts in my motor?
Im still learning so no flamin if this sound stupid cause id figure it should be fine if im running the stock turbo and stock injectors.
much appreciation for any help

i think just upgrading the injectors would be fine and you can keep ur turbo if anything it will spool quicker and be more responsive, unless u wanna make more power I would recomend upgrading the turbo, untill you have more funds$

thanks for the answer.
Ok ill have to save a lil more to ensure i get the larger injectors.
What would be a good size to handle the rebuild?

I was eventually gonna get a bigger turbo (like maybe christmas time) but for now i just wanted to know the necessary stuff to ensure the car will drive safe.

well it depends on your power goals, I would recomend just running it rebuilt with everything stock for 1000 miles so your rebuilt engine can be broken in, then when you have the funds... get the injectors, but just run stock boost and stock injectors for a while then when you wanna make power just get bigger injectors and bigger turbo, just remember a bigger turbo is always laggier so a medium sized onethat ur engine can handle and is good with your power goals

Break in your engine with the stock injectors and T25. That's what I did for the first ~1000 miles. Droped in my 3071 twin scroll and injectors for the tune and it's golden now.

Dont go boost crazy. Stay stock boost until your tune.

I dont know what your friend is smoking, but forged intenals are pretty much overkill for a T25... Unless you're tuned with massive timming and low octane.
