Cool. I'm gonna see if I can get one off ebay. Are there any other places to get stock s15 knobs? Do any stores sell them?

no. the only stores that would carry it would be stores that carry small JDM parts..i dont think any store in the US would stock up on this part.

um NO, it deffiantly won't screw on. I have one and it doesn't fit. The shift knob is to big to fit the screw.

hmmmm. ok since xlstonex actually has one i guess this means NO. Do you other guys actually have s15 knobs or is it just hearsay. I really want something that will screw onto my c's short shifter.

Just use the trick that I learned along time ago on here:
Wrap the shifter threads completely with teflon pipe tape. Then, fill the shift knob with JB Weld and jam the shift knob down over the teflon coated threads and position it how you want it to be. Then, let the JB weld harden....and now you have just created new female threads inside your shift knob...and you can unscrew it if you want.

From the rules:
Reviving Old Threads
Unless you have a legitimate contribution to a thread which is older than 6 months old then do not post in these older threads. If you have a question it would be wiser to start a new thread and reference the old one if necessary.
Not legitimate.
Not recent.
Not a question.

Wow, really old thread, but just in case anyone stumbling upon it again needs the info, the five-speeds use a 10×1.25 thread & six-speeds use 12×1.25 thread size/pitch on the shift knob (this is for the S-chassis)

Real easy solution! I have some helicoils that i used for my s15 knob. Fits very snug with no play whatsoever! And i can remove it and put it back on without worrying about replacing sludgy tape residue. Lmk or just buy some at ur local autoparts store!

This.
Instead of posting this could have been killed a lot quicker if someone would have just reported it.
