What's up guys, since i have no luck selling my other 240 ( this is my other car fs: http://zilvia.net/f/cars-sale/341797-1998-240sx-se-113k-miles-4500-a.html ) i'm putting this up as a feeler. I would preferably trade for a 350z/ will consider interesting trades 2000+ year only plz. Here's the list:
1995 Nissan 240sx SE 165k miles on the chassis, no rust, originally from FL
I was specifically looking for a '95, to avoid headaches associated with OBD2 emissions, if you live in NY that's the the way to go.
300 miles on a rebuilt S14 SR20DET:
- block honed
- Forged JE pistons / new rings
- Forged Eagle rods
- ARP hardware (headstuds /rod bolts)
- Apexi MLS Headgasket
- head decked by westchester crankshaft
- various new gaskets / rebuilt oil + water pump
- walboro 255 fuel pump
5 spd tranny
- lightweight Project Mu racing single clutch / flywheel (same as Blitz Active / ORC clutch)
- new throwout bearing, cleaned pivot/fork
- short shifter
New fluids all around coolant/oil/tranny fluid/power steering
- Ecu tuned, running stock boost, but since it has forged internals now, the new owner might want to throw in bigger injectors / up the boost / bigger cams (i have 264/264 cams sitting on my shelf, just cant afford the injectors/tune at the moment)
- 1.5 differential (a bit rough for daily driving)
- s15 garret turbo (cleaned/new gasket during build)
- Greddy Spec M intercooler
- HKS BOV
- New Battery (month ago)
- Newer turbo/manifold gaskets
- New Greddy elbow
- Megan downpipe
- 3" Catco cat (gutted)
- 2.5" Nico Club's BRM exhaust with 22" resonator
- Greddy suction kit
- Z32 maf
- Apexi Air filter
- D2 adjustable coilovers w/ camber plates upfront
- Energy suspension swaybar bushings
- Nismo Tension Rod Bushings
- Subframe collars
- newer steering rack
- Recent alignment (but since changed wheels)
- 300zx front brakes with new pads
- new 15mm spacers upfront and 20mm spacers in the back
- rolled quarter panels
- 370z 18" Rays wheels (no curb rash) with pretty much brand new Yokohama tires.
Car has many new/upgraded parts
- Recent paint job
- New moldings all around at the time of paint job
- New leather seats front/back
- New carpet/mats
- New radio trim / Shift boot&trim
- Newer dashboard/door panels
- Prosport boost and oil psi gauges mounted on steering column (i still need to wire it up since the rebuild)
Car also has new stereo system
- Rocksford Fosgate 4ch amp
- top of the line Rocksford Fosgate monoblock
- Rocksford Fosgate rear speakers with tweeters
- MB Quart with tweeters upfront
- 10" Alpine sub in a custom made box that fits in the corner of the trunk.
- new power/audio wires
- I also installed a custom computer into the car (you can see the touchpad near the shifter where mirror control used to be) it's nice to be able to park anywhere and check you email through wi-fi's on the spot, stream music videos from youtube, watch movies, download a song at a red light etc, use it to tune your car on the go, there's lots of possibilities, pm me if you're interested in specs (it's a toshiba laptop with AMD dual core porcessor, 2gb ram etc), i dont really use the keyboard, but i had a wireless mini keyboard that worked well with it
- Power converter (2 outlets) in the trunk (to charge the laptop/ use for anything with a regular plug) wired up to the custom made button by the hazard/defrost buttons, the one to the left of the defrost powers on the computer/monitor, the one to the right by the hazard lights switch turns on the power converter, looks stock
The car also has a kouki front and, custom paint job (original paint code with added flakes, looks real nice) and mentioned earlier new moldings.
- I put new amber corners, i like the look better than clear ones
- The hood has a strut/dampener installed, so you don't have to hold the hood up.
- s2000 shorty antenna
- Car has 5k HID's
- Kouki tail lights
- LED reading lights
- working sunroof, no leaks
- tinted windows
I'm sure there's more that i'm forgetting, but should cover most of it. These are the pictures i took today with my crappy camera, but i will try to get a hold of a better camera soon
There are some imperfections with the car
- My father drove into the car on the right quarter panel and dented it in, i since rolled the fender, but you can see where the damage was (worst blemish, but really not that noticeable)
- the back bumper has a small scuff from my brother parking too close, it probably could be buffed out, it's not too bad
- The throw out bearing makes a noise, not very noticeable, but it's there (it's normal with ORC clutches from what i've read here on zilvia)
- The exhaust needs to have some hangers welded in, because it hangs on 1 hanger at the moment
- I'm still in the process of getting the wheels not to rub, but there are slight rub marks on the tires.
- the gas gauge doesn't work, i've cleaned connections in the fuel tank, so next thing i would try is changing the cluster out, it still lights up the little gas pump light when it's on empty, just doesn't show how much fuel you have. i just filled up after every 250-300 miles
That was an essay, wasn't it? hah well here's some pics:
