exhaust touching gas tank

hey my exhaust pipe is pushed up against the gas tank and i dont want to have to weld or cut anything so i was thinking about putting a metal piece in between
it or i heard of some tape like thing thats like carbon fiber that i could wrap it in, just brainstorming and i appreciate the help if anyones got it

Anything you put on there in between gas tank and exhaust will not hold, temp and vibration will just let that slip off. You're best bet is having a muffler shop welding a solid bushing/hanger and pull the exhaust slightly away from the tank.
