I've decided to remove the stock oil cooler from my rb25 and do an aftermarket oil cooler setup with a front mounted oil cooler. I've done some research and came across several options on how to do the whole setup but wanted to post up a thread on here to get some opinions from you guys.

My original plan was to remove the stock oil cooler and use an oil filter stud from Raw Brokerage that goes directly to the block

Then from there run a block adapter that screws onto the oil filter stud and has to only 2 ports coming off it
Similar to the tomei one for the sr but screw on instead of bolt on......the problem is I cant find a screw on version of something like this for the rb.

Then to a remote oil filter sandwhich plate like the trust one with 4 outlets and run an oil cooler from there.

=============

My other ideas was to just run one of those 2 port adapters off the block if I could find one straight to an inline -10 Earl's filter then an oil cooler and directly back to the block. Would using a setup like that with the inline oil filter work?

i was going to remove the factory oil cooler too, but that stud from rawbrokerage has been out of stock for a while. you still run an aftermarket oil cooler without removing the factory one.

You are on the right track. You will need a n oil filter bypass (Earl's part #1178erl, for example) from jegs or summit, the Greddy unit, the stud from RAW, an oil cooler core and the lines and fittings to do it all. Good Luck!
