B-top cam shafts in R-top?

Hello, i have a redtop sr20det and my camshafts/ lifters are ugly.
I have a black top head and i was wondering if i can put the camshafts and lifters from that into the redtop?

From my understanding the blacktop and redtop are the same thing, aside that the blacktop is newer with less mileage. So yes you can exchange those parts.

i for one wouldnt recommend it because they have different wear on them. i would just swap the head if i were you

don't swap crap dude...The cam is pretty much married to that head.Also its not you using a new cam and lifters so you can upgrade or refresh...The 2 or 3 thread where they go into cleaning of the Valvetrain. Like some atf flush,etc should clean real nicely
