I was just making sure that there was nothing i was supposed to do to the threads on the bolts of the coolant lines when putting the new braided lines in. like u do with threads in pluming with the white thread tape? I know this sounds like a dumb question but i have never changed any coolant lines that were threaded before. want to do it right the first time.
these are the ones i got

Ok I got all the lines off but one. The one that is on the top of the turbo that is the oil line is not wanting to come loose the socket is slipping I am using two extensions, a swivel, and a 1/2" socket. but it was a little rounded before I started on it. I am afraid I am going to have to take all that loose from the turbo exhaust manifold. and all that. not really wanting to do it. Any ideas as to how to get it out?

I used thread tape on my lines...just a little tiny bit to ensure a good seal. You dont want too leak or create an engine fire.
As far as getting that bolt off, spray some hi-loosen down there and let it soak (probably several times). Then I would try and use a wrench if possible to get on the bolt. Look around from different angles and try to find different way's of attacking it.

Ya I have looked it over for almost most of the day. a wrench is a no go. i am taking a break and going to go back to it later. sometimes it is better if I do that not sure why.

AN fittings seal through the flare, no need for ANY tape or sillicoen there
Bajo bolts seal through brass crush washers, again no tape nor sillicone needed.
HOWEVER you should use tape/sillicone on the end that screws into the block or the turbo itself (the tapered thread, not the flared side).
