Thought this might bring up some chat?

Tell me this, How in the hell are these supposed to wear slower than normal tires. If the outside diameter is smaller than the inside diameter, when you force the tire to go in straight line either the inside will be spinning faster than the distance it is traveling, or the outside will be spinning slower than that distance.

Also, I don't see how this tire can aid in cornering performance at all. Wheels are typically given camber in a straight line, so that when under hard cornering there is more contact patch. So take the cambered tire which has full contact patch in a straight line, under hard cornering, the inside of the tire will lift off the ground...

Also, this is supposed to give the car camber without adjusting the suspension linkage? Umm, if the linkage is set to have full contact on a normal tire, put the camber tire on, the inside will be off the ground, it still has to be aligned correctly for full contact to be made.

This guy really needs to step back and think for a second instead of trying so hard.

the only draw back...is when a car does corner...the contact patch would have to roll with the car....

The whole damn design is a drawback, it just looks neat.
