Just finished an E-Mail conversation with Robert Lee over at Stop Tech, as of now they are offering big brake upgrades for both 5 and now 4 bolt pattern. Oddly enough, I emailed em as he was getting out of a meeting regarding this issue! Cool.
and I qoute
This is
now such a popular platform we can't ignore it. We are putting our kit on 3

take that as you will, but I always said publicity bring products, and lower prices!!

I beleive you have to order the 300ZX BB kit, and specify the 4 bolt pattern, detail will follow by tommarow afternoon, at the latest.

thats cool and all but how is it even a kit?
Drill the rotors for 4 lug and your done really.
Besides fitment with wheels (which is why I have not changed mine yet) and the "kit" is complete.

please please PLEASE tell me this kit will address the rear brakes... i see too many front-only kits and it makes me ill.
so basically this will be like upgrading to Z-brakes without having to junkyard-hunt and redrill?

to say you don't need to upgrade the rears, especially when doing something like Z brakes up front, is utter hogwash. just because their front calipers are designed to keep the stock brake bias the same doesn't mean the rears can be ignored. you're adding a lot more clamping power up front and now the fronts will lock up even more before the rears. I know plenty of people with Z brakes and the fronts lock up WELL before the rears (optimally would be a split second). and what about pedal feel? master cylinder upgrades are very noticeable with Z brakes all-around, are they saying that those extra calipers up front aren't going to require more fluid or a different size MC?
