But $6,300 is a way bit to steep ?, is there that much of a shortage of m20 engined 325i E30's that have bumped the price up that much on them, crap I can't find a decent E30 M3 with less then 100k and people are getting easily 20k for them now.

I picked up '85 325 for $2000 but it was in amazing condition. A '91 325i in average condition could go for like $3-3.5k easily, at least here in Texas. But $6300 is definitely way too much unless it's S52 swapped an has coilovers and wheels and a bunch of other stuff on it.

in good shape it should be in the 3-4k range.
E30 M3 > E46 M3 > E9X M3 > E36 M3.

There's a local '89 M3 fs for $39,500. 2 owner, less than 80k miles iirc.
They're going up. I need to get one sooner than later. But $25k will get you into a very nice one.

I paid $1,700 for my mediocre condition Midwest car.

I found a beatiful, low mile 2.6 W201 locally, and I do have money in the bank... I just need to save it for school. Otherwise I'd go pick it up on Sunday. Monoblocks and springs.

The 3 series is my s chassis I think.

i want a 201, passionately. i would die happy if i could get a 2.6 with a 5 speed trans to DD. i cant justify the price of a 2.3 or 2.5 cossy. that being said, i choose death over getting rid of my piece of shit E30. that car is the essence of cheap and fun. :) i have coils on mine now, and all urethane bushings. fresh clutch and stuffs. once i get some cash saved for some cheap 16x8's, 0et and 5mm spacers, life will be completed. until i get a 964 or E46 M3 after college. :D

I have found some E30 M3's but they are the early versions but still needed resto meaning paint, int and dash + get it all back to stock will take some money + it's a very hard market to turn $ profit for resto on those things now


but on the rare E30's

Very true, there are some nice 190 2.3 & 2.5's out there but they are very very very pricey.

91 E30 318is had the 138 hp 4 cylinder in it with the limited slip and sports seats. Only year made. Autocross guys love em. You can get them for around $2000-2500.

Though I will still give em a run for the money in my 93.5 P10. British touring car championship winners. Primera P10's.

M3's are reaaaally expensive, but a 325i/is/ix are relatively cheap if your patient. I found a 89 coupe ix for sale witha rebuilt motor for $1300, just look around.

i'm DDing my 3rd BMW from the 80's. this one i've had for 2 years now and have put 30,000 miles on it. :)i also think it looks fucking awesome. parts are cheaper than any car i've ever owned, and people think it's an expensive car to own. misinformation is everywhere. you get the right one, it goes forever. newer ones are much more problematic than old ones, IMO.

I have seen quite a few e30's on my e30 forums go for 6-8k and I think they are worth every penny. I own two e30's and I want more, it's everything you could want in a car. They can be whatever you would want to build them to be. But I want be honest both of the e30's I have I found with luck and only paid $500 for each of them. I can get 5500 for the 325i coupe 5k profit, there a great investment all around lol

Is that in Norwalk? Seen a black bmw(Dont know what it was since i dont know BMW's) but it was black had some drift sticker on the side of it and was selling for just about 6,300 but i thought it was a 92.

All these BMW threads i see in S chassis forums are really maken bmw's look good to me :squintd:
