hey guys i got my sr20 back together with my new exedy clutch. My clutch is slipping bc the slave cylinder isnt allowing the fork to release fully. Its about 1/4in too far pushed in. Ive tried adjusting the pedel, replaced master and slave even tried cutting down a rod for the slave cylinder! any ideas guys?

Its not the slave...something is fubar'd in your clutch. Sounds like the clutch is being preloaded. Could be a couple of things...how high is clutch pedal engagement? If you got it all the way up to the top, then it could be preloading that way. If not that, you said you already tried to shave down the slave pin and still preloading right? Then worst case scenario is that you have the wrong TOB or maybe even the wrong carrier. It could be thicker than it has to be and is pushing on the clutch even when its supposed to be disengaged. Go under the car, take the slave off, see if you have some play on the fork. Take the boot off so you can peek in there. See if the TOB has some play.
