s13 jdm cluster in 240sx

I was wondering if when you use a jdm cluster and have an sr20 swap if you still have to put the ka dash harness conector onto the sr harness or if you just leave that part of the harness alone?

i didnt do anything to my dash harness when i put my sr in just connected the jdm cluster into the harness all the plugs fit
