hmmmmm, well if youd put a 315-40-16 Hoosier slicks up front, youd have major problems getting around town....

If your question is will they be flush and will they rub then the answer is:
1. they will be flush
2. they will not rub
If you run into any problems just dial in a bit of neg camber up front but I don't see it being an issue.
I have 16x8s in the rear +38 (fairly flush need about +25) and 16x7 up front +38 and I need some serious spacers to get them flush so you should be set with the sizes that you have.
One of the more experienced members will give you specifics but I see no prob with fitment

S13 or S14...?
Tire size...?
If S14, I ran 16X7.5 with a +20 and they looked good, fit well, didn't rub...this with 225/50-16 Dunlop FM901.

cool thanks orion, i have a S13...ill get whatever the recommended tire size is, probably 215/50 or 225 something or other.
edit: my worry is not whether they sit flush, but whether they will rub or have serious camber problems.

225 tires on +22 have been known to rub on s13s.
You can trim or roll your fenders, or run more negative camber, or run narrower tires though.

it would rub only in the front though right? Are you talking about like the edge of the fender rubbing the tread?

Actually, I believe when Asad from FA had that offset and tire size it rubbed in the back but not the front.
Fender clearance is an inexact thing, but just be aware that +22 w/225 tires at stock offsets is really close to the fender.

good points
that's why fender rolling is a MUST for any aftermarkte wheel setup. rubbing will be non existant unless the tire is so wid or wheel offset so low that it hits teh actual fender and not that lip and rubs.
id run a 215 on a 7.5" if i were you. looks good (not bulgy) and responds well.
