time control unit? wt ef is it and what it do

Like the title says.. what is it? what is its function. I am having a problem with the car wanting to stay on after the key is out. Ignition relay is still good.

That doesn't sound like a tcu issue. When tcu gets fried your dash/gauge cluster lights malfunction.

Usually if your TCU is bad your lights on your dash are out completely or very dim. I'm not quite sure what it actually does but these are the symptoms I've seen from when one is bad.

i bet if you weren't so lazy and actually tried to search you would figure out what it is and what it does...theres all kinds of information on it!. . . I'd start with google.
