Go Rent the following:
Mad Max (Mad Max)
Mad Max 2 (The Road Warrior)
Mad Max 3 (Beyond Thunderdome)
The absolute best movies of all time! Sometimes I wish life was really like that. Of course, I'd have to be Mel Gibson. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

Ok I just saw the movie "O" With Julia Stiles (10 thing I hate about you), Josh Hartnett (Pearl Harbor) and its got to be one of the most twisted movies I have ever seen. I have to recomend it do to the fact that its a great movie, its just a morbid story line. It was based on Shakespeare's "Othello" So rent it, its pretty new. Just dont watch it on a date or with any kids.

blackhawk down was a very good movie. it was one of the most realistic war movies i have seen. you didn't see everybody fucking playing rambo shooting from the hip and firing on full auto all the time. the squads were moving the way they were trained, etc.
jay and silent bob strike back was also a good movie in the sense that it was absolutely hilarious but you have to have a certain type of sense of humor to enjoy it.
those are the two most notable ones that i have seen recently.

Movies I've seen recently:
I watched The Lord of the Rings for the second time. It's still good. Saw a couple chick flicks also. A Walk To Remember is ... a nice date movie, I guess. Kind of boring to me but my girl loved it. Crossroads is stupid as ####. Just three girls giggling all the time. The Count of Monte Cristo is not bad, but not one that really stands out either.

umm so far, the funniest ones... Rat Race, Out Cold, Rush Hour 2 (i know i know old)..
I hear collateral damage is a good movie, I might go see that one.

I thought Vanilla Sky was the best movie I'd seen the whole past year. I also liked K-Pax and F&F wasn't that bad... it definitely held my interest as far as cars went, but just as anyone else, I'm not sure I liked the plot.

mothman profeces was pretty scary. it wasnt like shit jumps out at you scary. it was more phsycological or w/e. the only reason i liked f&f was cause of the cars and there were some cool scenes. and it had a lot of action. i havent see the other ones you guys are talkin about

ok movie still in the theatre I have to say brotherhood of the wolf. It's french and has subtitles but it's good as #### to watch. As far as movies everyone should rent I'm just going to mention a few car related ones that I love. Corvette summer, Death Race 2000, Black Moon Rising, Vanishing Point, Two Lane Blacktop, The Driver, Bullitt; all those are fun to watch Vanishing Point is my favorite I think.

Did you guys hear that there is a Terminator 3 coming out?! I'm not quite sure what to think.. I mean the terminator series wasn't all that bad but its a bit late for another sequal and the 3rd one at that.
Lord of the rings was outright amazing. I especially liked the special effects where they had those huge armies runnin over the hills and whatnot. The landscapes and overall atmosphere of the movie was really impressive. I can't wait for the next to movies. Has anyone seen "The One" w/ Jet Li. I notice no one has mentioned it. I thought it was an alright movie, but there was something missing. I suggest you go out and rent if its available yet. It had a very original storyline and a lot of cool action. Its probably one of the more original movies i've seen in a while. Speaking of which has anyone noticed how a lot of movies nowadays are either remakes or follow the same basic storyline/plot? Its a little dissapointing. oh yeah and go rent the movie Out of Sight, its really cool and has some funny parts too. Good all around movie and some very original cinematography.

Good Movies:
Lord of the Rings, Kicked Butt up and down the street.
FNF, Storyline sucked, but man the Supra was sweet.
Crouching tiger...., kinda cracked out, but the fight scenes RULED.
The Replacement Killers, just all around cool movie.
