Name: Matt Hughes
Location: Cadiz, KY. Prefer Pickup Only, unless otherwise negotiated.
Contact: PM/Reply/Call or Text (text preferred) 27o-985-3o2o
Price: $2500, negotiable only depending on removed parts. If you want the LS1/T56 combo, as well as 99% of the parts to complete the swap, PM me to discuss.
Trades: Only trades entertained will be a 47-55 Chevrolet/GMC Truck, 67-72 Chevy/GMC short bed truck, 1964 Ford Falcon Convertible, or MAYBE a muscle car of some sort. PM me to discuss. MAY also trade for a gas saver, but would prefer not to.
What:
I'm not a quitter, I'm not lazy, and I certainly do not lack the talent to finish up my swap. I simply have found an infinitely cooler use for my LS1/T56 and no longer have the desire to finish the install into my 240.
I guess you could just go back with a SR or KA in this car. I haven't altered the wiring at all, so you could roll with it like that.
1992 Nissan 240sx coupe.
Goods:
-Cleaner than your average shell.
-SOLID Frame Rails
-Shiny Paint
-Crackless Dash
-S14 Seats
-Leather rear seats
-3 gauge pod where the center vents are located
-Autometer sport comp gauges (boost, oil, temp)
-Megan rear subframe bushing jobbers
-older JIC Coilovers are included, not installed. I've never used these, they've been sitting in my shop forever.
-steel wheels on the car
-17x9 +23(i think) Motegi Touge wheels. No tires. One has hit a curb and bent the lip as well as hairline cracked it. It still holds air and actually still balances according to PO. I was going to weld it up and roll with it. You can do as you wish, replacements can be had cheap, otherwise they are clean.
-Walbro 255 (installed)
-NON-solid motor mounts. These use the factory LS1 F-body clamshells, so they won't rattle the hell out of your brain when you drive the car. These are being finish welded right now, will post pics directly.
-Notched subframe. Modified to use an unmodified GTO front sump pan.
-Regular subframe. you can have em both.
-PX Racing transmission cross member. Uses factory rubber mount (included)
-Tranny tunnel has been hammered in to accomodate the T56.
-Front bumper with NO license plate holes ever drilled in it. Seriously this was a HUGE deal to me, surely someone can appreciate it.
Bads:
-It has a scrape/dent in the rear passenger side quarter panel, which should pop out for the most part. I'll post pics.
-It has been hauled between 3 different shops that I've worked on it at and has developed a few door dings. Car is still exceptionally straight.
-Someone transported it for me and ran a strap over the hood, rubbing on the paint. Not awful, but there nonetheless.
-Brake lines, booster, master cyl (clutch and brake), wiper motor, harness are ALL out of the bay (wiring harness just kinda hangin out). Not really a bad thing, just was getting the bay ready to paint.
Here is the car in its former glory:
